Do not add more than required as it has a strong flavour. Return pre-fried chicken to the wok and toss until well coated with the sauce. These marmite chicken wings have a sticky, beautiful glaze with a deep marmite flavour. Add Marmite, honey, maltose, shrimp paste with hot water in a small bowl.

  4. Turn off heat and stir for a few seconds to let sauce coat the chicken. Garnish with sesame seeds if you have and decorate with coriander and serve.

Using the same wok, add in chopped garlic and marmite water mixture, stir and cook till big bubbles, add in fried chicken, stir. Mix well all over chicken pieces. Heat oil, add in chicken pieces to brown. When it is browned on one side, flip to the other side to brown. Put in fried chicken and mix well.
